Local Attractions
Cley and Holme nature reserves are the destination for hundreds of bird watchers, eagerly gazing out to the sea on winter days or lazily scanning the reedbeds in the summer. Magnificent stately homes, such as Blickling, Felbrigg and Holkham Hall, delight all that come, with their splendid architecture, elegant interiors and superb gardens. The Edwardian elegance of Hunstanton, with its beautiful esplanade and charming old town, upholds the tradition of English resorts. Inland you will encounter delightful market towns like Burnham Market and Holt, one of the finest examples of a small Georgian town. However, all roads eventually lead to Norwich, a relaxing city, still very medieval in appearance, crowded with Churches, old inns and ancient squares.

On the beautiful North Norfolk coast, 5 miles/8km east of Hunstanton, Titchwell offers a wealth of birds throughout the year. A firm path, suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs, runs from the visitor centre to the sandy beach, past reedbeds, saltmarsh and shallow lagoons. A new path and boardwalk, also wheelchair and pushchair accessible, passes through areas of fen and wet woodland (carr) to the Fen Hide.
